Wait, so Law and the City is the new legal drama everyone’s buzzing about? I’m intrigued, but also skeptical. Are we really about to dive into another “lawyers have personal lives too” storyline? I need to know if it’s actually good or if it’s just another excuse for a bunch of attractive people to stare intensely at each other over coffee.

And can we talk about that quote? “If you change one person’s life, you’ve changed their entire world.” Sounds like we’re about to get some serious emotional moments. But like, does it deliver on the legal drama front too? I’m ready for some courtroom showdowns, not just office gossip!

Somebody convince me before I waste 16 hours of my life!

I started watching Law and the City because I like legal dramas, but I stayed because of the characters. Ahn Joo-hyung really stood out to me. He’s not the usual cold genius. He feels more like someone I know in real life—someone who works hard but doesn’t chase promotions. His rejection of Kang Hee-ji confused me, though. It’s not just a dramatic twist, it made me wonder if he has some kind of memory problem or if he’s hiding something painful. I hope the series explores this more in later episodes. I also liked how the drama didn’t focus only on courtroom battles but also on friendship, office culture, and simple everyday things like eating together. It was relaxing. Maybe too slow for some, but I liked the quiet moments. And yes, the “Lawyer’s Table” blog? That was such a nice touch.

Honestly, I stopped watching after episode 4. The characters were fine, but the pacing felt too slow. I was waiting for a major plot to kick in, and nothing really did. I prefer legal dramas like Hyena or Stranger, where something happens in every episode. Here, it felt like they were just going to work, eating lunch, and then going home. Some people may like that, but not me. I did like Kang Hee-ji though. Her energy made the scenes better. I might come back to this drama later, but for now, I moved on.

This show surprised me. I expected another dramatic courtroom series with lots of shouting and big plot twists, but instead, it was gentle and thoughtful. I enjoyed how the lawyers didn’t just argue in court but also talked about life, dreams, and food. Kang Sang-ki being a food blogger? That was charming. I connected with Ahn Joo-hyung the most. His calm personality and quiet sadness made me feel something. When he told Hee-ji he didn’t know her, I felt heartbroken. Maybe it’s a trauma? Or he’s hiding something? The mystery is strong enough to keep me watching. Also, Mun Ka-Young is great in her role. I can’t wait to see how her character develops.

I have a theory about Ahn Joo-hyung. What if he’s not lying when he says he doesn’t know her? Maybe he really doesn’t remember, or maybe she was part of a painful part of his past that he wants to forget. Maybe he’s not just logic-driven but emotionally guarded because of something tragic. I know it sounds dramatic, but the way he looked at her—something is there. I love dramas that don’t give you all the answers quickly. I’m excited to see how this plays out. So far, the writing has been smart, and the cast is excellent. I’m giving this one a high score.

It was okay. I liked some parts, but I don’t think it’s amazing. I liked that it showed people working and eating together. But I didn’t feel anything strong from the story. It’s nice background drama while I fold laundry or scroll on my phone. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it. It’s very calm. Maybe too calm.

Kang Hee-ji is my favorite character. She came in with hope, energy, and belief that law can change people’s lives. That’s how I felt when I started my own career. Seeing her get shocked by Ahn Joo-hyung’s rejection made me sad. You could see how hurt she was. But I respect how she didn’t break down. She’s still doing her best to grow. I think young professionals can learn a lot from this drama. It's not only about winning court cases. It's about handling disappointments, learning from teammates, and finding your own way. I’m going to keep watching.

Relationships can get messy, especially when someone shows a side of themselves you didn’t expect I’ve seen that happen in real life too, and it’s never easy to process. It reminds me how important clarity and trust are, not just in personal stuff but in legal matters too. Once I had to deal with a complicated situation, and using a reliable service like mississippi process service really helped me handle things smoothly. Anyway, your story resonated appreciate you putting it out there.
