Why doesn't the middleman just request that the thread be stickied?.

OMG I've explained that if you didn't read. If she isn't sticky then I mean people are just gonna never know she exists other then people who actually like buying from her.

Then its up to the customers to spread the word or let the middleman do it.
I rmb Oki went around threads saying that he provides this service.Just give it time dude.It's not about people not knowing her if she dun have a sticky thread.It's about whether the middleman chose to spread the word.
Plus,i'm sure people would compare various middleman service before shopping.And they do ask around.That's when you put in a word or two.

And ya people would compare, but they'd probably only see Ex and Oki anyways, so like i said Unfair dude just unfair.

I think it's just matter of time when the middleperson's thread get stickied.
Rider Proxy starts her middleperson service in March. That was like 3 months ago. So she's kinda a bit late to joined us compared to EX & Oki.
IIRC EX were the first middleperson that joined this forum. Also her middleperson service started way before she joined HJU, so perhaps she deserve to be stickied early in the game, based on her popular services & great feedback from other boards.
Almost half a year later, Oki joined us & provided the same great service. It took like a while to get his thread stickied. Heck, I didn't even know that his thread got stickied recently.
I'm sure the admins were trying to be fair with all these middle persons.
Perhaps there is a regulation of which trade thread deserve to be stickied.
In this case, any middlepersons' trade thread maybe needs to be active, runs & got feedbacks for at least 6 months or so to be stickied.
If you can't wait, just contact the staff & promote the thread to be stickied with a valid reason.

Normally, the easiest solution to this would have simply been for the person in question (in this case, riderProxy) to simply PM one of the staff and ask for the thread to be stickied. We would then all take a look through her thread, and as long as everything appeared to be kosher, the request would most likely be approved. If anything, if RiderProxy directly made the request herself it likely would have been approved and she would have gotten stickied faster than Oki did because at first all Oki did was advertise himself in other people's threads instead of making his own.
As has been already been stated here, another thing that can be done is that other people PM/contact the staff and simply say something like "Hey, riderProxy's a pretty good middleman and has helped out a lot of people here. It might be a good idea to sticky her thread." A lot of people did that for EX shortly after when she first joined here and people started using her services. It was you guys that brought what she was doing to our attention and so we were able to take action.
Bottom line, you can't get what you don't ask for. NEVER expect that stuff will automatically be given to you if the people in charge don't know what it is that you're doing.
