First, the 1/60 scale isn't Perfect grade, it isn't even high grade, it's standard grade.

Second, you are paying WAY to much for them, try Hobby Link Japan

1/100 MG, $47.61

1/100 Full Burst Mode MG, $69.43

1/60 $94.23

The 1/60 is worth it, if you know what you are getting into, it has a lot of lighting work you have to do, I have not done this myself, so I don't know to what extent it goes, but the finished product looks amazing, needing a watch battery and three AAA batteries.

If that's too much, go with the 1/100, but the full burst mode is currently on back-order on HLJ.

The 1/60 scale is Master Grade. it has cool bonuses like little figures of Kira and lacus so give the 1/60 a go. it's cool yet expensive but worth it.

It's available in two versions: regular and the ones with gold plating joints. try it!

i thought the 1/100 came in 2 different style, burst and regular??

also is the 1/60 better than the 1/100 since its bigger??

How many gunplas have you actually built so far? I'm terrified of screwing up my MG Crossbone Full-Cloth, so I've been practicing on a bunch of HG kits lately before I build it in the summer.

If you order off of HJU, don't forget to factor in the shipping costs, as opposed to the price you're getting in a store.

You should save up for the full-burst mode. You seem to be extremely fangasming for GSD right now, so you should go the extra $50 and get the flashier kit.

I think they made the MG Strike Freedom ship during the series, then when the series was over, they made a MG Strike Freedom Full Burst Mode to get more of your money.

burst mode strike freedom sounds like the winner here...

BTW...is the Burst Destiny Gundam any good when compared to burst strike freedom??

All Master Grade mobile suits are 1/100 scale, you must be confusing it with a different Gundam.

Start with a HG I suggest, be careful since you only like seed, those have some pretty horrible Standard grade and HGs, the Standard ones are pretty good for beginners but break easily.

Never use a MG as your first kit, theres multiple steps to completing it, including Decals (no not stickers) and paint.

No MG kit comes with paint applied, its a bootleg or not a MG (just the same size as an MG). All Kits are colored, but those are basic colors, your MG will look like legos or a cheap toy once put together when its not painted. Here's a guide for the busy man on how to paint a kit and make it look well (all in about 4 hours)

You don't need to follow everything he does, give it at least once coat of paint before putting it together. Decals are also a must, stickers will fall off quick and look bad.
