Yes, perhaps in the initial release of the thing, but I'm talking about these marked down sets. Once the company that was releasing the original sets went under, I can imagine Tsuburaya probably saw it as the end of it and didn't think another company would up and release the overstock.

Well. All it would take to find out is a search for Ultraman on Amazon.com. I like to at least give Tsuburaya Pro that much credit.

Not sure the sets are entirely overstock. I could be wrong on the Ultraman series set, but for RED BARON Amazon.com lists it as being a four disc set. The original BCI release is six discs. My guess is Mill Creek got their hands on thew rights (however shady they may be) to publish these shows and began producing these bare bones sets. I can't speak for the quality of the cheap sets being sold now though, since I've bought the originals when they were released.

Yes I have. A friend of mine recently found a set of that still on the shelves. I explained to him the situation and he took the set back. Of course they have a clue. Did you not read what people have said? There was a huge law suit over this.

Wow, some "translators" in here that know those Ultraman subtitles are crappy. But aren't putting their great TL skills to use and TL'ing shows. ...On the other side of things, I know 2 TL's who said the translations are well done. Hmm... which ones to believe , which ones to believe...

Did you not read what I said? I know that Tsuburaya has a clue. And I know about the lawsuit. I was the guy that asked Keith to make a post about it on the front page when Tsuburaya won the lawsuit.
