Have I been a little too harsh on Kabuto?

dude, if you have no idea what's being said then dont watch RAW. Watch the subs and enjoy. I love Kabuto. It's a bit slow to get moving but I love the show. There are so many heroic moments and the plot gets heavier and heavier

Kabuto is a really awesome show. I sometimes don't agree with some of these new first-timers that think it's like the second coming of Christ in Kamen Rider form, but you should really give it a chance or risk missing out big time. It's one of my favorites of the new series'.

Just stop bein a bitch about it, download the subs, beg for someone to upload to megaupload, or cry for more seeders. Sit down after downloading a complete 20 episode batch.

Then start downloading the rest of the 10 subbed eps, and start watching from the beginning. Unless you got REALLY good memory

Once your done episode 27. take a break.

Watch 28.... Grab some delish food... Come back and watch 29-30...

After you laugh and call the show retarded at this point, go ahead and get the raws for the next three ONLY if you want to have your kabuto fun spoiled to the max.

Yeah, I know what you're thinking. Another lame thread from Rising Sun Ranger.

But anyway, you may know that I've been a bit negative on Kabuto quite recently. So, I've been thinking a bit about what Sage said, I said that there were too many boring bits in Kabuto, and he said those boring bits were meant to be the plot..

So I'm thinking (but only thinking) about giving Kabuto another chance, but I'm not sure in which way. Should I..

Watch it through TV Nihon's fansubs

or

Stick to watching RAWs

Noticing my Japanese is still not up to scratch, I thought TV Nihon's subtitles could sorta help me get through the boring bits, but on the other hand I could stick to the RAWs and if I still don't get it, I could simply ask questions about it just like Forever Knight did earlier when he was watching those Metal Hero DVDs.

I really couldn't make my mind up which way to go so I made this poll.

Well dude it's not a contest or race. Watch whatever version you want whenever. I have no choice but to be patient since I don't know Japanese, but that's no big deal. I can wait. My friend is like you in that she's so-so when it comes to speaking Japanese but it's Kamen Rider so it's easy for her to pick-up what's going on (meaning that really complicated dialog isn't going to be spoken in a show like that) and she does just fine watching the raws.

Another thing..

Once I've collected all the subbed episodes of Kabuto and decided I liked it, would it be worth buying all the Toei Official DVDs, or should I just save my monney for something else?

Perhaps it's better to first watch the entire series and decide after that.
I usually buy Toei DVD's of shows I deem 'worth it', meaning I watch the series first and then decide whether to buy them on DVD or not.

'kay!! Episode 7 is not on RangerBoard and episode 8 to 11 have expired. Shall I skip to episode 12 or is someone willing to upload 7 to 12 for me (that would be great, thanks in advance).

No skipping.

Hit up TVN's BT.

Huh... that was unexpected. I underestimate you, Bolt.. and am ashamed for thinking less of you. -___-
