Halloween vs. Christmas Day

I use to really get into the Christmas spirit as a child.

I'd really like to re-live those days, but as you get older things change.

I'm still somewhat spiritual, I guess. But it's just never the same, as it was when you were a child.

To wake up Christmas morning and see a crapload of presents under the tree.

I was really spiritual, what I loved were all the things that went on at church.

But the days surrounding the actual holiday are my favorite because that's when my family all gets together and chills. I never got a bunch of presents, but that was cool, because I got to be with a lot of my family.

Halloween. I use to love Halloween so much when I was little. Still, it's fun to sit on the sidelines and watch all the people run amuck in costumes and have fun and deciding which costumes you like the best from all you see. I also like watching "scary" movies.. even though I watch them all the time it just seems funnier on Halloween.

The days leading up Christmas, the general spirit, celebration, and joy just give me an awesome feeling.

Halloween is so...bleh always has been, IMO.

The season is what I enjoy the most about Christmas, music, colors, weather, the general feelings of joy. It's all better than the actual day to me.
