"Let's DRIVING!!!!!"
Just got into the HD Remastered version of Gundam Seed and I was surprised at the reanimation of this clip:[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIi7rmPNSY4"]ガンダムSEEDリマスター　フレイ新規カット【紅に染まる海】[/ame]

Cooky, isn't it?

They're doing an HD remaster of Gundam SEED? Why wouldn't they wanna do an HD remastering of one of the franchises better series like i dunno the original timeline, or G Gundam, or Gundam Wing, or Turn ∀ Gundam, or Zeta, or pretty much anything other than SEED? I realize that SEED is really popular but seriously there a plenty of superior Gundam series.

On second thought they can remaster gundam seed all they want, that animation is creepy as all hell.

Well, seeing as thought it is the 10th anniversary and the fact that it is more popular than its sequel, the director and the series creator thought, "WTH...let's just put the series in HD and blab, blah, blah, blah!" In other words, a 10th year anniversary commemoration means big bucks and more fanservice. Now for Zeta, they did that in A New Translation, but for the other Gundam series, that's up to original staff, writers, cast and production company.
