Man, SEED is FAR from the only Gundam show to have recycled its battle scene animations (also, I thought SEED Destiny was the one the internet picks on for it REALLY being noticeable).

I can't say this is that big a surprise. SEED started what is considered The Second Gundam Boom and is old enough now for the teenagers who watched it in high school to be adults with disposable incomes. It only makes sense you'd offer them something they'd have nostalgia for in a prettier package.

Not really.

It's the original show being remastered and spruced up for HD TVs and Blu-Ray players. It's not a condensed retelling with new footage here and there.

Eh, I hated the recycled animations and designs. I don't think I will watch this again in HD.

I finished SEED like a month ago, it wasn't as awful as people say IMO. I didn't like it enough to care about this HD remastering

From what I remember of SEED, I liked it a lot. The series was the first since G that I really got hooked on, which, if I had a bluray player, would most definitely get me to buy into the HD remaster
