Well, it is the World Tournament after all, and everyone there won the four person free-for-all. He took care of 3 people, then was ambushed by 8 more people.

It's not like everyone else did much better. Reiji had enough trouble with Luang Dallara and the Epyon dude, too. Yuuki fought 3 people and beat them. Nils fought one and beat them. Aila fought four, beat three with one running away.

Yeah I guess you are right. The Epyon wasn't really customised and it could still give the Star Build Strike (a highly customised and OP suit) trouble. They got skills...

Battle royal is good one to break the boring one on one scenario. I think Luang is out by now? Seeing Mao arrived safety from space. Getting more hook into the series..oh my.

I think he ran away from Mao after Reiji fell in. Probably didn't want to take unnecessary damage.
