Gundam 0081: Ghosts of the Battlefield (Sign-Up/OOC)

Name:
Remy Lanzaat
Age: 27
Faction: Invisible Knights
Appearance:
6fc91c0bb82170_full.jpg

Personal Mobile Suit: None at the Moment-As a pilot Remy’s skill is average, he seems to have a preference for bigger Mobile Suit. One that is bigger than the Zaku series, his favorite being a DOM. Remy lost his DOM in a retreat operation to the place he is at now. Most of the left over from his DOM is currently use as parts on the two maintained Zaku the knights currently field.

Personality: Loud and stubborn is the best way to describe Remy, Remy is a very hard headed high strung person, he is a reminisces of a Japanese Yakuza. He is usually serious and is very into military discipline, but this doesn’t mean that’s he’s not playful from time to time even if his jokes may be very cruel. Remy seem to like to solve his problems with his fist and is known to hit his subordinates to beat things into them. To the remnants Zeon that knows him, in the past Remy has been known to beat down an entire captured Federation Platoon to get information. Lately due to him being out of a job as a pilot and his exposure to Saya he’s become little nicer. But only a little.

History: When Side 3 declared war on the Earth Federation, and started its campaign to invade the Earth, Remy was part of the first group of Zeon that dropped down to Earth. Remy back then was part of the military intelligence corp. His specialty was extracting information; he wasn’t known to be gentle to his prisoner, beating them up to get his information. The results of his ways can be said to help Zeon take foot on Earth. Remy was stationed at California base, most of the war, he is also known to be the jack of all traits and he sought knowledge in many fields in the military, one of which was Mobile Suit piloting. As the war progressed and the Federation started to take back the Earth’s surface, it was known that Zeon was short of resources on all front including pilots for this remaining mobile suit with the death of his commander Garma Zabi. Remy took off away from the MI corp. and became a Mobile Suit pilot, giving up his rank and status. He would then meet the commander of the Knights before it was formed and became his right hand. Remy did not enjoy any victories from then on, he was fighting a losing war, but like any soldier he refused to lose and refused to leave anyone behind. Soon he became popular among the remaining forces, a much better history then his old one. With the lost of the forces little by little Remy started losing confidence in winning the war, until he was assigned his current mission, to protect a sing star. At first Remy was against the entire idea, he wanted to get back up to space as soon as possible to rejoin his comrades in protecting Solomon. But instead his superiors stuck him with this task; Remy then came to accept Saya, and protected her till today. Nothing back then could tell him that he would be stuck on earth and he hates every moment of it. Currently Remy does not have a mobile suit to pilot and does most of the labor work in his current job in a junk yard. Remy is a big complainer, often asking randomly. Can I go home now?

Fun Fact: Remy isn’t his real name and his peers usually play a guessing game to guess what his real name is. The name Remy derived from his love of the hard liquor Remy Martin.

Name: Andrew Rozier
Age: 26
Faction: Invisible Knights
Appearance: Andy

Personal Mobile Suit: Currently, none. By the end of the war he had been piloting a Gelgoog, but it was damaged heavily enough to be almost useless during a series of guerrilla actions shortly afterward.

Personality: Andy isn't the kind of person that makes waves. He's easy enough to work with, but won't easily offer personal information. He's kind of hard to get close to because of that, but isn't broody or standoffish, just tends to keep people at a distance. He has a good head for strategy and tactics, but isn't really the team leader type. He'd rather be behind the scenes feeling out the situation, and let someone more charismatic be in charge of things.

History:
Born the third of the six Rozier children, he was determined not to get lost in the shuffle. Even at an early age he showed a keen analytical mind, which only sharpened as he got older.

A keen, analytical mind and a family history of military service made Andrew Rozier an ideal candidate to recruit for the Principality of Zeon Military.. The fact his two older brothers, Michael and Colin had been in service for a few years already might have helped with that. He wasn't necessarily a zealot for the Spacenoid cause, but he was loyal to his family..and that tipped the balance.

He was assigned as a crew member on a Musai, and was there during the Battle of Loum, when a Federation Salamis-class' missile struck near the bridge, blowing the hull open. He was able to save the vessel's captain, and the damage control team rescued a few of the bridge crew who hadn't been blown out into space. Despite the loss of most of the bridge crew and the temporary incapacitation of the ship's captain, they were able to keep the battle going long enough for reinforcements to arrive, and tow the heavily damaged but still intact Musai into port where it could be repaired.

For his efforts, he was given the chance to transfer and a promotion..and qualified for Military Intelligence. He was on Earth during the Zeon forces' ground offensive, where he took advantage of another bad situation..

Official information on the incident is limited due to the nature of the battle, but a handful of MS and a few conventional vehicles managed to tie down a much larger Earth Federation force for several months. During that time, he learned to pilot an MS when it's pilot was wounded in combat, and showed to be quite adept at maintaining the equipment, even with their limited resources.

His skll as a pilot only grew as he was forced to rely on those skills to survive, and he showed a remarkable improvement in a relatively short time. Enough so that he was kept on as a pilot even during the drive that pushed Zeon from Earth and beyond.

By the end of the war, he was piloting an MS-14B Gelgoog High Mobility Type. Even with his record he isn't the type of soldier that's well known..he's the type that's gone to when results are needed.

Currently: He's managed to integrate into a particular group of Zeon remnants that hides out in a junkyard. He may not have anything to pilot, but he's a good planner and pretty handy with a wrench, especially with limited materials.

(Since the MS are limited, I'll wait and see what happens once more become available..)

Here's an NPC for the Invisible Knights.

Name: Nathan Roa
Age: 39
Faction: Invisible Knights
Appearance:
denzel.png

Personal Mobile Suit: None, currently. During the war, he seemed to favor mobile suits with thicker armor and long range capabilities, which was a Zaku Cannon at first and then a Dom later on in the war.
Personality: A firm, but fair commander, Nathan expects results from his troops in any situation. That said, he has been known to complain about lack of supplies in their current situation, but, for the most part, knows how to use what resources they have to good effect.
History: Nathan is of spacenoid heritage and is from Side 3. He joined up with the Zeon right away, as he had some military experience prior to the Zeon uprising. He first distinguished himself during the One Week War, where he helped in the attack on Side 4. His next large engagement saw him in the initial drops on earth, with him being part of the attack on North America. Due to his service, he was given command of his own unit and continued to operate out of the northwestern United States for a good part of the war. A few months into the war, an idol by the name of Saya Blessfield was to entertain his troops and he was to keep her safe in her tour of the earthbound Zeon.

When the war turned sour for Zeon, Nathan offered to have Saya leave them, as he did not want her to be caught up in the long struggle they were bound to have from then on. Much to his surprise, Saya wanted to stay with them and become a pilot, which Nathan agreed to after much deliberation. He personally taught her to become a pilot and thought her progress was good enough to allow her to pilot one of the few mobile suits they had left. He was the one who got the idea of hiding his unit at their current junkyard location, taking up a guise that they were just a bunch of junkers. He is continually looking for his chance to strike against the Federation, but he wants it to be worth it...

Also, you're approved, Kurou.

Sorry to double post, but the front page has been updated with a rather important NPC for this RPG...just thought it would be nice for people to know.

Name: Hikari Mishou
Age: 22
Faction: Phantom Sweeper
Appearance:
1268598995829.jpg

Personality: Hikari’s kind-hearted and caring nature would easily bring a smile to almost anyone who gets to know her. Always thinking of others first before herself hides from the world her truer feelings. By indulging herself working on improving the interfaces and thoroughly inspecting damages of each gundam keeps her mind more focus. When she is not on call would spend her time taking long walks or working on her private botanical garden.

History: Hikari always wanted to do something meaningful that would one day lead to the end of the endless fighting. While Hikari was just finished completing high school tragedy struck her family when her father had made one too many bad investments that cost him his life. What the Mishou family were unaware that these bad investments did not consisted placing money in the stock marker, rather importing and distributing illegal firearms with the enemy. As a part to clear her family name and make amends for her father misdeeds attending the academy.

Hikari had proven to be an excellent student excelling as both a pilot and mechanic. When graduation had arrived the young woman turn down the position joining the others out on the front line. Hikari’s decision came that she would be of more use not on the front line itself, but rather on the off scene working on improving the interfaces and thoroughly inspecting damages of the mechas instead. As for her thoughts on the war itself feel that it is one that neither side will win, but only create more strife.

There, I'm hoping this is better
Name: Maya Ronalds

Age: 32

Faction: Invisible Knights

Appearance:
infiniteline4.avif
Mobile Suit: None for now, she use to pilot a Zaku 2 customized for long range combat.

Personality:
Some people may see her as anti-social, as she often spends her days cooped up in her room, or in tinkering with her machines. She can often be cold towards others, preferring to “hunt alone†as she calls it.

Bio:
Maya comes from a long line of soldiers, in every generation someone had been involved with the army in some way. Maya wanted very much to carry out this tradition when the One Year War hit, but she would be denied that chance when she gave birth to her baby daughter. She still wanted to help the military in some way, she is a gifted mechanic, often able to work with just a pile of scraps her motto is “If even just a pile of scraps is left, pass it here and I can fix itâ€. And so she got a job working as a mechanic, repairing.

She worked close with the military, repairing any of their broken Mobile suits or vehichals that came her way, all the while using her funds to help support her family. Then, tragedy struck when she received word that her family died during a raid, the Federation were helpless at preventing their deaths. News of this tragedy pushed Maya over the edge. She believed that the federation forces did nothing to prevent so many needless deaths, she wanted to do something, to take her frustration out on the Federation somehow...and that was when she decided to join the Zeon Forces. Mobile suits weren’t foreign to her however, she understood the basic mechanics from fixing so many of the Federation suits, it is also this knowledge that makes her deadly against most kinds of vehicles and machines used by the Federation. She’s skilled with a sniper rifle, and piloted a Zaku 2 that specialized in long rang combat.

With the fall of Zeon at the end of the One Year War, Maya was barely able to survive on her own, she was tired, and piloting a falling apart Zaku with barely any ammo left. It is here that she meets up with the Invisible Knights and she was put to work quickly trying to keep their machines going for as long as she possibly can.

For those wondering when the RPG will start, I'll see if I can get it up tonight...College just restarted for me and I've been rather busy...that, and I need to add one more NPC before we are good to go.
