CBS's adaptation of the British sitcom 'Ghosts' is now available for free on Pluto TV. If you haven't caught it yet, it's a quirky take on a couple who inherits a haunted house filled with spirits. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy lighthearted humor mixed with a touch of the supernatural.

Seems like a fun way to kill some time.

The premise of 'Ghosts' does sound charming, but I find the adaptations of British shows often miss the mark when it comes to capturing the original's spirit. The British version is so rich in character and nuance, particularly with how it intertwines humor and heartfelt moments among the ghosts. I worry that the American adaptation might lean too heavily on sitcom clichés, which can dilute the unique quirks that made the original so special. It seems like a fun concept, but I'm hesitant to invest time if it doesn't bring that same layered storytelling to the table.
