Volume 25 is here... we've come to the end of the road for the guy who has taught me a lot.

In all seriousness, I owe this cat a lot for the life lessons he's taught me and that have stuck with me since.

I'll be sorry to see him go... -__-

Wait, you mean Tokyopop just put up 25?

Wow, I seriously thought they released them all a while ago.

Hmmm, probably because I didn't buy but the first one....heh (I had the original volumes, just wanted to see how their translations were to the original.)

Yup... I'm surprised it's out this son, as I read it wasn't coming 'til August.
every time i go to a bookstore i always see the manga out before the street date announced. usually a week or two early.

anyway, i gotta pick this up. GTO was the manga that got me into manga that wasn't DBZ or whatever. it was something i never heard of and picked up and loved. it's the only manga i take into public and read. i havent found any other book that's really jumped out at me or made we actually want to get the next volume. Love Hina comes close but since it was only half of what GTO is the giant anticipation was short. i need to go back and read every volume before i pick up vol. 25 that way i get a giant GTO marathon before the finale.

and, since it hasn't been said yet, GTO really is the Greatest Teacher ever!

Well just finish reading it and I say its kinda dissapointing. Sure I love the whole dove thing and the big ballon of Onizuka in the end but the manga felt rush to me and doesn't really close GTO properly. It feels like they could have done just one more issue but I guess this will have to do.

I throughly enjoyed the series and its certaintly one of the best manga, GTO was the first manga series that I bought religiously and I hope the prequel can be as good, if not better than its sequel....

Lets not have a Star Wars moment here.....
