Ok. Some twenty matches later, I FINALLY beat someone online. Who was playing Ken, which made me feel really good.

That's one thing I hate about online play. Every newbie picks Ken and then spends the entire match attempting to beat you, by abusing Shoryukens.

I've played against at least 70 Ken's in online play.

Probably because they think they can abuse the Shoryuken like Seth can. Or they think Ken is Top Tier like he was in 3rd Strike. Its baffling at the amount of Ken players in SFIV.

Agreed, so far out of several hundred online matches I've fought about 98% Ken, 1% Ryu, .5% Sagat and .5% Other characters. It's really irritating, but at least I'm learning to punish Ken scrubs pretty well. :laugh:

I was listening to Exile prior to getting SFIV, so this was a pleasant surprise.

That's one thing I hate about online play. Every newbie picks Ken and then spends the entire match attempting to beat you, by abusing Shoryukens.

I just pick Abel in retaliation. He's quite anti-shoto.

The best part is that they wait to see which character you choose(but still choose ken anyways) or move around the character selection screen to look like they are trying to decide who they should play as(but still choose ken anyways).
