Groom shot to death by police

This is messed up. Anyone else hear about it? A guy who was in a car with 2 other friends got shot up by New York city police officers. 50 shots were fired.All 3 men were UN ARMED. The groom died.


The Black Panthers are raging, threats against NYC police officers were made, and Bloomberg is pissed.

According to Kelly, the groom was involved in a verbal dispute outside the club after 4 a.m. and one of his friends made a reference to a gun.

An undercover officer walked closely behind Bell (The man killed) and his friends as they headed for their car. As he walked toward the front of the vehicle, they drove forward striking him and a nearby undercover police vehicle, Kelly said.

At some point, Bell, who was driving, backed his car up onto the sidewalk, hitting a building gate, authorities said. He then drove forward, striking the police vehicle a second time, Kelly said.

This is far from an "innocent man being killed" scenario. **** went down. It's too early to assume that Bell was completely innocent in any wrong doing. And if he is, this is no excuse to blast cops for any wrong-doing. They werent out to slam an innocent man. They overheard some things, one of them got struck down, they opened fire. But the investigation is still going on.

I think it's too early to assume that it's "the big mean fat cop putting the man down for no good reason".

This is nothing like the King beating and in no way has been linked to anything racial. Investigation is still pending. It's not like they singled out Bell and picked on him and his friends. THEY ran over a fucking COP FIRST. Before the shooting happened.
