THE FUCKIN SINESTRO CORPS!

Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital Copy Combo....

Warner Home Video has announced DVD ($19.98) and Blu-ray/DVD Combo ($24.98) releases of Green Lantern: Emerald Knights for June 7th. The only extra material on the DVD release will be a Sneak Peek at an upcoming DC Universe animated movie, and a Sneak Peek at "All-Star Superman". The Blu-ray/DVD Combo release will include that, along with a commentary with Dan DiDio and Geoff Johns, 2 featurettes ("Only the Bravest: Tales of The Green Lantern Corps", "Why Green Lantern Matters: The Talent of Geoff Johns"), 2 Pods ("From Comic Book to Screen: Abin Sur", "From Comic Book to Screen: Laira Omoto"), a Green Lantern digital comic, and more. We've attached some early sales artwork for the Blu-ray release below:

I got it on Tuesday and watched it. I enjoyed it for the most part. I was just disappointed that it seems on the surface to be connected to First Flight (by the animation models), but doesn't fit in with story of First Flight. The problem with it fitting in with First Flight is Sinestro is still a GL. Hal was still a new Lantern by the time Sinestro went all Yellow at the end...but in Emerald Knights, Hal is now a mentor....yet Sinestro is still a GL? Doesn't make sense.

Also go the special 2 disc from Walmart which on the box says 2 Bonus Cartoons by Bruce Timm..which isn't out of the ordinary. But it's really only one episode of Batman Brave & Bold and about the first 4mins of another episode. That is hardly 2 bonus cartoons.

I don't think DC's animated movies are supposed to connect with each other
