Wearing them? That reminds me of an MTV ad I saw that showed some european guy get a pair of used panties in the mail and then they showed the fat sweaty japanese guy that had made them used.

Japan, the land where you can rent a sex doll, buy an ultraman vibrator and legally buy school girls panties in shops but you can't find uncensored porn

Yeah, I'm wearing one right now.

Oddly enough, I have to agree with Fayt on the non-surprise :P

My family thinks I'm odd with all of my love for Japanese stuff like Toku and Anime, and PR on the American side of things, but I don't think they've called me obsessed yet

Oh, yeah--like the lack of emoticon variety around here's my fault.

We need that purple one that made the big huge surprised face again.

Man, everyone I know said "WTF?!" when I said I'm going to become bilingual in Japanese. My parents think I'm nuts, then they see I can read it, write it, and speak it and most likely still think I'm nuts but are impressed now.

Regardless of my love of Japanese culture, I'm damn happy that now I can write my notes in a language that probably only like 6% of the people in America can read because they A: think all Asian languages are Chinese and/or B: it's too hard because it's not in "English".

I also find myself being able to distinguish between Chinese, Korean, and Japanese speech now while walking down the street. I still get weirded out that I can pick up on some Japanese conversations after learning for so little time and I STILL suck at Spanish and French. Go international TV channel!

AH, I recall **** like this happening to me in my early teen days. My Parents would try to cause **** with me about my Power Rangers obsession. It got to the point one day where I told them straight up "Dad, you love ur KISS army music with grown men wearing make up with shitty music" and Mom, "You love ur Jesus bullshit" so let me like my stuff and drop it. Never had a problem since.

I guess they assumed I'd eventually grow out of it... **** were they dead wrong.

To this day I get random ppl asking me Why I like wrestling, toku, pr, Heavy Metal, etc... Usually the type of people who ask me this don't have any hobbies of their own which is what is most likely the cause of their negativity towards having hobbies and interests.

Just recentley I've admitted my love for Toku/PR to one of my buddies. This is the first person besides my family that I've told this to. Not any girlfriends, no best friends, nada. He is a huge Dragon Ball Z fan and he did not even ask me "Why".
