I have friends and relatives who also get everything they want and they're in their 20s too. Everything from toys and tech gadgets to cars are bought for them by their parents and I don't see how it is "sad" in anyway at all -- more like lucky because I don't have to work for everything as most people do.

As Zenoff64 already said, it looks more like you're just jealous that you didn't get this luxury so you have to insult and call people who are luckier than you "sad", that they need to "grow up" and that they'll be "a virgin for life" so you can make yourself feel better. Sucks to be you if your parents left you on your own to make your own money and didn't buy **** for you.

Regardless, you can believe whatever you like as I see no duty in convincing people and arguing with them to change their opinion. Hence, I honestly don't give a **** of what you think.

I'm not going to lie, having EVERYTHING given to you is like having god mode on. I work for my ****, but there's a difference between someone giving you something you could already get, and getting something or everything that you could only get from hand outs. The latter is sad only if that person completely lacks a sense responsibility and accomplishment, one of the main things you get from working hard for what you want and need.

I'm more like Forever Knight, the key difference being is I don't judge people based on the source of their money. Personally, being given everything would get to me after a while if I didn't have to earn it on my own. But thats just me, and its not right to put down others based on the way they want to live their life provided they aren't leeching money from the government and somehow affecting you. If the parents give them money, and they take that money, so be it. I'd get bored, they wouldn't, but who am I to judge?

Again, if it was government welfare, I'd be inclined to agree. But if his parents earned the money, its their choice to distribute it in any way they deem appropriate. No reason to get butt hurt over it.

Besides, rich/weathy people have a majority of the money in the world. They buy what they want, and put the rest in the bank/investments. Every dollar extra spent, is more money flowing into the economy, and could actually beneft you Forever Knight.

Either way it's nice that you get stuff.. but rubbing it into other people's faces like this is kinda mean, IMO. I mean, I know you must be grateful to get this stuff, but sometimes I think FK is speaking about having responsibility with your money at the age of 20. Mom and dad provide for a lot of 20 year olds, yes, but a lot of 20 year olds actually enjoy being able to pay for the things they enjoy themselves because they feel like they've earned it.

:C That's my perspective anyways. My parents do a lot for me, they pay for my school, and they pay for my food and a roof over my head and everything.. so I like to do things for them to give back to them (whether it be a small gift, good marks, or offering to take my parents out to a family dinner.) They don't need to buy me toys because they already do so much for me. I'd feel bad if they did, so in a way, I enjoy being able to buy stuff with my own money that I've earned. It also makes me feel like it's something that's really mine that I worked hard for.
