Goseiger vs. Shinkenger Blu-ray help

Wow, I hadn't even noticed that the poster didn't have any bad guys on it. And it's been my wallpaper for a couple of months now. Emperor, I know those pamphlets are big things for movie releases in Japan; do they hand them out free or do you buy them at the theater. I'll be in Japan for the OOO/Gokai movie (assuming enough people sign up for that PJT tour) so I'm curious.

It's not free. Not sure if all theaters are the same price but the Movie Taisen Core and Goseiger VS Shinkenger Official Pamphlets I got were 600 yen each at a "Cinema Shop" beside where the food and drinks were sold.

The chirashi/mini-posters advertising various upcoming releases are free though (those mini-posters that middlemen or Japanese eBay sellers sometimes include for free with purchases)... I think you can take as many as you want. I almost emptied their stack of the Goseiger VS Shinkenger ones when I took my share. (I'm including them with toku-related purchases when people buy from me. [/shameless plug] :P)

...and what's this "PJT tour"? Curious.

Many thanks. I'll definitely buy a pamphlet and stuff as many posters as will fit into my suitcase (who needs underwear?).

And it's Pop Japan Travel. Their Hanabi Tour, Aug 3 (my bday) - Aug 11. And I fully intend on not leaving Japan without seeing the OOO/Gokai movie!

There is a Limited Edition for the A-Z movie ... actually they call it "Collector's Pack"

Kamen Rider W Forever Blu Ray Collector's Pack

God damn. Was Den-O's Onigashima War Ship & A-Z the only Rider movies with Collector's Packs?.

Well, either way I don't really bother with the limited edition disc anyway to be honest.... so I might re-think and cancel my pre-order for the Gosei vs. Shinken limited and go with the better cover for the standard...

I think all of them since then have had it....just checked CDJapan and yes, all of them since then have had them. Chou Den-O & Decade, All Riders VS Dai Shocker, Movie War 2010, Chou Den-O Trilogy (don't you own this one?), W Forever and Movie War Core.

The Chou Den-O set I got is the Trilogy Box. Not sure if it's got the Limited stuff in it, haven't had a chance to even open it up yet. But I think I'll stick to standard editions. The Gosei Limited I got and I didn't know there was a difference. So I'll probally just go with standard from now on. But mathematically, how much more do Limiteds cost over standards?.

I think the sentai ones are about $20ish US dollars and the Kamen Rider ones are like $40ish US dollars in difference. Not 100% sure but that's vaguely what I remember. I'm going to stick with the standards unless they offer some seriously cool swag or maybe if they start making the bonus discs Blu-Ray instead of DVDs.

Just cancelled my pre-order for the Limited Edition version and pre-ordered the standard edition. I just hate that Dice-O cover.

Hate is a strong word, but I strongly prefer the standard Blu-Ray cover. It looks better, has all the heroes and it's the cover to the cheaper version. I would get limited version, but I don't have a cash for it. Either one, you get a Sentai team-up on Blu-Ray. Can't go wrong.

s the extra disc does nothing for me. I have no reason to watch it since I'm pretty educated on how the Toku episodes and movies are made anyway at this point.

11 days 'til release!.

I tend to get bored during Japanese making-ofs and campaign announcements. Sometimes they're interesting when actors are in character (or you get a particularly enthusiastic or animated actor) but in general they're usually so quiet and reserved that they're not very...entertaining. It's fun to see some stuntwork and stuff but when it comes down to it I think I'd rather just save the extra money.
