Go-onger VS Gekiranger

[Tsubasa Dragon]

It was watchable. but the story looked so stupid to me... i didn't like the whole enjin ken.

[Shirubaa]

That was one serious roll call and mecha finisher.....

[Kai Yamato]

It does have mechas in their ultimate forms from both series.

Engine-Oh G12 and SaidaiGekiRinTohja. Speaking of overkill. :O

[NathanTZ]

yup Gamera appeared in this movie.

[HIDE] even if it was just his shell.[/HIDE]

**** beat me to it.

[ForeverRed]

Gosh, I wish Long to shoot or blast that UGLY Engine-Oh G12. Worst mecha ever.

[Sekiria]

WROOOOOOOOOONG!!!

Ultimate Daibouken takes that prize, hands down.

[Tsubasa Dragon]

Is it ultimate daibouken really that ugly?

[Blazeking]

Ultimate DaiBouken is butt ugly. Yes, it's that bad.
The black DX version looks somewhat better:

G-12 is sexy compared to UDB.

On the other hand, why do I have the feeling the R.P.M. EP Eddie saw this movie and used that idea for how the rangers summon the engine casts from their chests....You sly dog you....:169:

I guess it's just some people's agenda to completly overlook it's positives and harp on the negative. At some points in the movie, you can see the two teams are just about the same personality wise. If you "loved" the gekirangers, the go-ongers were just about the same. The storyline may have sucked (because there was no upgrade IMO) but they made up for it in some parts.

I don't hate or love it, I appreciate the effort from Toei. Because we know if they just stopped production, there would be petitions out the wazoo to bring it back. Even a weak series would be welcome then.
