Gingaman is definitely underrated Sentai series!

Gingaman seems to be a mix of Zyuranger (Five warriors from different tribes seeming from a different time, anachronic in modern japan, a sixth warrior who is the red warrior's brother,the villains (Bandora gang or Balban ) were sealed before the beginning of the series, and are freed by either astronauts (Zyuranger) or an earthquake (Gingaman) during the first episode) and Gaoranger (sentient beasts mecha with a lion for the red warrior, villains with generals coming one after another (4 generals in gingaman, 3 great dukes in gaoranger), with two villains (one male, one female ) staying the entire run; the sixth warrior is possessed by someone else (the first bullblack in gingaman, rouki in gaoranger) during 6-7 episodes))
Although the word "ginga" (galaxy) is always said, there is hardly anything about space, except that the beasts came from another planet (for example, the space pirates are stranded in earth)
PS: I know gaoranger came after gingaman, but it's still striking.

I remember reading on Wikipedia ( I know, I know...) but it said that the Kanji in the Gingaman title was different than the Kanji that meant "Galaxy"

I've only seen bits and peices of Gingaman, But I liked what I saw and I wanna see more. I can see the parts that Shinkenger picked up. I thought it would have made a decent PR series if LG wasn't a In Space redux.

IMO, the people that hated on Gingaman for the "charlie brown" suits. Are two things. The first is that they are morons, and second they need to pay attention to the theme of the show in relation to the suits.

Woo! Episode 19 was awesome. (THANK YOU, HNT!) At the end of this episode, he was pretty stubborn. I'm really excited to see the next episode, GingaRed vs Bullblack!

Personally, I think Power Rangers Lost Galaxy and Gingaman are both tie. Love both.
