The premise of the story just reminds me way too much of Spawn. Almost exactly like Spawn but Spawn sold his soul to save his wife I think. I forget. I used to collect Ghost Rider comics when I was a kid but I never started from the beginning or anything so it's not like I ever figured out where he came from or how he came to be but I loved it all as a kid. Great stuff. I really like Cage as an actor. He rawks and he pulls off the role well in the trailer.

But man when I watch that trailer I just cant help but think it's gonna be about as good as the Spawn movie was... and like it or hate it, Spawn movie could have been hella better.

actually his comic book orgin is kinda simialr to Spawn, he made a deal with Mephisto to save the life of, I believe, his girlfriend who was dieing of cancer. In the comics she was cured but later died in an accident and Johnny was bonded with Zathros to become the ghost rider.

too bad the movie got pushed back to 2007

he was in a traveling circus and he knew that his father/mentor was going to die from an illness, so he used black arts to make a deal with Mephisto so that he wouldnt die from teh illness.

well dude died in a motorcycle accident and Johnny Blaze was pissed and mephisto was like PAY UP!

not a bad trailer, they didnt show Ghostrider much but this needs to be saved to someones hard drive before it gets yanked AGAIN like last time.
