I'm surprised your not too big on sentai.

I believe he was indicating he's just not big on the mech battles in Sentai. Obviously he's big on Sentai or at least Power Rangers otherwise this place wouldn't exist.

Well you know, I'm not even trying to knock mecha in Sentai as a concept though I do believe not every series needs them past the initial main combiner, if any at all. But the designs have gotten so goddamn overwrought and I do think it's part of why the Sentai mech fights have become so lackluster and it is part of why giant battles in Ultraman are more fun to watch.

I come to toku for martial arts and drama... and I don't really get much good martial arts when it's giant monster fighting.

If I want mech action, that's what anime's for.

There is tons of martial arts action in Ultraman.

Ultraman Leo is packed with scenes ofmartial-artsy goodness, since Leo/Gen has to undergo lots of physical trainings to defeat each week's giant monster, under the guidance of his mentor -- the badass and merciless Ultraseven. At one point of time, Leo even used a nearby prop as nunchucks. :laugh: Hmm, but its an old-school Ultraman, so I dunno if Keith would go for that first.... but yeah, lots of WATTTAAA!!!~

Best Toku movie I've ever seen.

I actually thought that one was a pretty huge let down, I didn't see too much to like in it.

The best tokusatsu movie I would say is Ultraman The Next, the prequel to Nexus, I feel like that's what Nexus should have been all series long, dramatic, but not super dark makes me want to kill myself.
