Most Sentai movies have never really impressed me much manly because
1) The story line in these movies feels like some random episode and/or not very interesting
2) It only last a maximum of 30 minutes
3) The production quality is only slightly better from the TV series
The Gekiranger movie decided to broke those tradition (except for #2) by actually making the MOVIE version feel like it a good movie with much better special effects than the regular TV series and an interesting storyline (even without subtitles). The opening intro got me really pumped and despite being only 33 minutes the movie felt well paced and as Momotaros would say the movie was "a CLIMAX from beginning to end." Toei really went full out on the production qualities of the 2007 TOKU movies and I hope they do the same for 2008.
