GARO Presents Another "I Just Watched" Thread

So I just finished up watching GARO and I have to say, it was damned good.


The fights were extremely impressive, well developed characters, the Horrors were imaginative (often to a creepy regard) and MY WORD did I mention the fights?

I honestly heard a few good thing about it on this board, so I have to say thank Henshin Justice for putting me onto this series. Anyone else's thoughts on it?

I liked GARO a lot. For all the reasons you have stated.

It has a story that seems to do equally well as a serial, while having an overarching theme that ties the whole show together. Also Kaoru is one of the best non-fighter female toku leads I have seen in quite a while.

Love the fact that garo seems to point towards the older crowd!! Love to see more shows like Garo!!

Shouldn't she was only fighting for like one or two episodes really. But then again including her tiny bit in the Garo Special: Beast of the White Night, she just might fall into that point.


By the way, I am trying to decide if I should bother watching the SMILE gaiden episode? I hear it is funny but pretty abstract and more play like then anything else.

Kaoru's not a fighter overall . Was never built or trained to handle combat period. Leave that to Jabi.

It all takes place in a theatre with Kaoru as the lead and brings in secondary characters (including the voices for Zaruba and Silva) and Kaoru's parents. Overtly silly and odd but still some moments worth seeing.
