Future Super Sentai Motifs/Themes

[lhady_akira]

For me, I want a sport motif because our country is a sport-centered minded.

I want to have the rangers with their own sport expertise.

RED- Basketball
BLUE- Swimming
YELLOW- Football / Bowling
GREEN- Tennis/ Badminton
PINK- Gymnastics
BLACK (6th ranger)- Rugby/ Boxing

Or maybe I want to have a 'Star' motif with elements (my imagination).

RED- Star Red (Fire)
YELLOW (male)- Star Yellow (Lightning)
BLUE (female) - Star Blue (Water)
GREEN- Star Green (Land / Earth / Nature)
PINK- Star Pink (Wind)
I don't have a color for the sixth ranger but his element is sky.

That's all!

I think a Thai-made sentai, Sport Ranger, has this already that, but with soccer instead of US football, as well as boxing went to the red ranger in one of its members.

[Sentaifan'07 Xman]

I can only think of Gun-slinging, Sea Beasts, or Extreme Sports as a motive. But that might have already been used.

[HenshinSlayer]

Black: Hydra
Gold: 3-headed dragon

2) Beetles & Virtual Reality
Red: Beetle
Blue: Stag Beetle
Green: Hercules Beetle
Yellow: Goliath Beetle
Pink: Flower Beetle
Orange: Centaurus Beetle
Black - Renegade: Longhorn Beetle
Gold: Caucasus Beetle

3) Music & Racing

Steampunk Sentai
Ghost Sentai
Insect Sentai.

Also, this isn't really a motif, but I'd love it for there to be a Sentai where they get partner animals/mechas that help fight in battle.

i was thinking of a light/prism/color sentai before. with the first three male members being Red, Yellow, and Blue. and were joined later by Orange, Green, and Violet female members. this idea would be weird and straight up fucked up but the three primary members have families which are apart of the project to become rangers, and they all have one sister in the family. the sisters become the other rangers by (get this) becoming a girlfriend with another family related to the team. this is done so colors could be mixed so there ranger powers could be given to them (so Red's Sister + <3 + Yellow = Orange, Yellow's Sister + <3 + Blue = Green, and Blue's Sister + <3 + Red = Violet)

it really is a fucked up idea, but it kinda make sense a bit.

There was a rumour a while ago of a wrestling-themed Sentai. I think that was a joke made up by Japanese fans, but still, the idea would be hilarious

[HenshinSlayer]

Is there hope for ranger teams of...

- monster hunters/dark hunters (inspired by Darkstalkers, Devil May Cry & Blade)
- beetle troopers in virtual reality (inspired by Beetleborgs, VR Troopers & Megaman EXE)
- alchemists (inspired by Fullmetal Alchemist)
- arctic animals and extinct ones
- music vehicle racers (hot wheels acceleracers & battle force 5)
- constellation-zodiac rangers (saint seiya)

[shamrocknroll]

I have mentioned some before but here's an updated list:

-The Five Tiger Generals of the Shu Han Dynasty of China
-Updated Space Theme
-Systems of the body like circulatory, respiratory, ect.
-Gothic Horror
-Food Groups
-Playing Cards (again a very old theme that IMO could use some dusting off)
