Had this Idea along time ago and wrote a bit on it for awhile, as a writer should. thought I'd show you some Ideas and storyline ideas of a sentai show I had thought of when I was sixteen. yeah, it's a fanfic and I know it's never gonna be a real deal but I always liked the concept I had with it.
backstory:
In the future, the world has been ravaged by nuclear war, the world now lays as a barran wasteland. the people live in towns and cities scattered across what is now known as the waste. the world is a dark place now and mutants roam the lands. but, in legend, it is said that across the desert, across these feilds of sand and rock, lay the promised lands. fields of green and rivers and lakes, a paradise compared to the barren lands they lived in now. it is whispered that it was closed off in the great battle against the desert spirits, they who watch over man, and kyoukan, a clan of powerful monsters mutated by the atomic war and given great powers. the kyoukan tried to wipe out mankind, believing them to be inferior to them, but the great desert spirits gave seven magnificent warriors their powers and the band sealed away the kyoukan, but in the process, threw them far away from their home. it is believed, not whole-heartedly for such childsih thought are for only midwifes and children, that one day the seal of the kyoukan will break and the magnificent seven will come back to bring the people to the promised land, they were and possibly are the furontia sentai Gunranger.

light overveiw of episode one.
Kohei is your average run of the mill vagabond, not even worth more then 500 over his head, yet he somehow finds away to escape the law.one day he is caught by a female deputy of the town of starfish named Kaori. for the first time in his life, each and every trick he tries to do to escape fails and she just ends up hogtying him (literally.)
yet over the horizon, five strange creatures plan an attack on the small town of starfish. one stands as a mechanical man, with gattling guns attacked to his arms, the second a fiery seductive temptress, the third a monster with a long brimmed hat and a trench coat, the fourth in the shadows with his arms folded over his chest and the fifth cloacked and hooded. they are shougeki, napa-mu, riboruba, dangen and shoujuu, the five generals of the kyoukan. shoujuu, the technitian, and major brains of the group tell them that one of the keys lays in the village. roboruba tells him that he should just sneak into the village and take it without anyone knowing the better but shougeki differs, maddened that the humans got to live out their lives while he and his fellows were sealed up for hundreds of years. suddenly, a fiery image appears before them, showing a young handsome man with long platinum hair. he is burondo, their master. though shoujuu defers to his masters will, he sends shougeki and a band of his minions, the kayakus, down to the village to bring back the absolute fear back into humanity of the kyoukan clan.
down in the village, stuck in the jailcell with kaori, Kohei still tries his way into bargaining with her to let him out, but the sheriff of the town, a gruff bearded man named mcbane, keep a watch over her shoulders just to make sure nothing truly happens. then suddenly, the attack happens and the small town of starfish is ablaze with kayakus tearing down houses and murdering as they please. in the midst of it stands shougeki, laughing and enjoying the humans suffering. mcbane pops his head out the window and then goes into the cell, telling kaori, no matter what happens, she needs to stay inside the building. she agrees and mcbane runs out and pulls out his revolver. from his gunbelt he takes out one single bullet, a red and gold encrusted bullet and places it into the revolver and shoots it into the air, transforming him into the legendary hero, Gunred of the gunrangers.
he summons up his weapon, the revolver sword, and starts battling the kayakus. meanwhile, inside the building, kohei tells kaori that she should leave anyway, one way or the other, she will have a better chance at surviving if she escapes the town before it goes ablaze. she tells him that this is her home and the people here are her family, that mcbane took her in when she was orphaned by a mutant attack as a child and was raised here with law in her heart. but soon enough his words get to her and she runs out, accidentally leaving the keys on the floor, in easy reach of koheis grasp.
gunred and shougeki are now dueling it out, shougeki suprised and enraged by the reappearance of a gunranger in his first pillaging since his escape. the duel slowly starts to get one sides, mcbane being older now then when he was given the red bullet as it was done since the first redgun died and gave it to the next one to weild it. kaori comes out and sees redgun in battle with the kyoukan. she is bewildered and shocked by both the gunranger and the kyoukans appearance. redgun falls to the ground, the red bullet escaping the revolver and mcbane transforming back to his original self. kaori, finding out it's her mentor, runs screaming towards him but he shoos her off, telling her to stay away. suddenly kohei comes out and sees the horror being done. he is enraged and screams out at shougeki, telling him he is a monster and what he has done is unforgivable. mcbane curses at the boy and thinks of the only thing he can, to give kaori the pink bullet, something he hadn't wanted to do as of yet. but suddenly a red light flashes as the red bullet hits koheis foot. mcbane mutters impossible but kohei continues to be enveloped in the red light untill he is gunred, of the gunrangers.
that's a basic concept of the first episode, it's not all of it but just a rundown of what happens. the idea has an overall western theme which I thought would be interesting to do. I had written all the scripts of the fifty-one episode for the idea of the show but I don't know if I could post the full script on the fanfic thread, so if people wanna hear more about the idea, I'll just post up a summary of the episodes basic plotline.
