I agree with Faded. I can grasp killing an animal, but I refuse to eat it while it's still alive. That just seems like a callous and cruel thing to do. Killing it first doesn't ruin the flavor, so eating it alive is done just as an ego boost or a way of entertaining horrific people

I understand that different cultures embrace different animals for food for many good reasons, and I admire that they use EVERY scrap part, which is not something many North Americans do...but...my own heart can't take it when its a domestic animal that I've grown to love.
Yes I'm being a hypocrite, because it shouldn't be different for any animal, and how can I eat an animal if I can't take its life myself? Ugh. JFC would be so disappointed it me. :disappoin
I understand the cultural differences. I would honestly probably try everything (even dog...but I am not sure) once. That minuses eating anything alive though. Especially if it's a cruel thing.
So glad you warned me about those videos though. I couldn't take the fish one after all...
