Finally Started On RPM...

... And I have to say, I was expecting weird, but not quite THIS weird.

It is honestly the most bizarre Ranger show I have ever seen (and I'm only six episodes in at this point).

First you have them taking Go-Onger's monsters and mooks, who are some of the least frightening designs imaginable, and try to have them filmed as these monstrous, frightening things (despite the fact the show itself makes jokes about their appearance).

Then you have the show itself wildly flopping in tone between pathos about how 3/4ths of the human race has been wiped out and then flat out making fun of all the little quirks that exist in both the original show and the overall ascetics of Sentai and Power Rangers.

Top it all off with what is absolutely the single most ANNOYING character to be a Ranger ever (looking at you, Ziggy) and that weird Death Note parody with Dr. K's initial appearance and... I'm not sure if I like the show, but I think I'll keep watching just because I have no idea of what the hell is going to happen next.

You'll grow to like Ziggy. A lot of people (read: including me) thought he was annoying at first.

lol Well when you get passed all that..then umm....well I didn't finish, but I remember it was ok.

It is weird at first but once you get to know the characters more they become likeable.

Nah, I don't remember why either. I didn't drop it, I can tell you that. But I think some of pre-empts and things to do just threw me off balance, so as time went on I got lazy.

I'm still trying to remember what was the last episode I saw. It was a couple eps after the American counterpart of Hiramekamdes' debut.

Hang in there. You will get your chance to see RPM again. Hopefully by this fall.

Well, I recommend you try and catch up. That Power Ranger Planet site has episodes you can watch on Megavideo.

I managed to find a "All Power Rangers Seasons Ever" torrent on Demenoid and while I was mostly looking to get back Lost Galaxy and see Mystic Force (another show I never got to see), I decided to give RPM a shot and that part of the torrent was finished before everything else so I started in on it.
