Favorite Sci Fi/Fantasy Shows?

A very basic question, what are you favorite sci fi/fantasy TV shows???
For me (Not in any real order, except for the first two):

Farscape: (No show as ever truly engaged me as much as this one has.)

Doctor Who: (It's Doctor Who, nuff said)

Mutant X: (It's no work of art, but it's enjoyable)

Torchwood: (Sci Fi with all orientations:laugh:)

Incredible Hulk (70's-80's): (Very episodic, but Bill Bixby makes you feel the pain of his charecter)

Jake 2.0: (Canceled before it's time. Geeky loser becomes a hero, sort of.)

Earth: Final Conflict: (The beginning was amazing, and then it kind of fell apart towards the end. Still, I love it no matter what.)

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: (My favorite Star Trek. And overarching plot and amazing charecters make this show. All though I love all Star Treks.)

Threshold: (Canceled before it's time. Amazing plot and excellent charecters)

Firefly: (Canceled WAY before it's time. Now this is a real space western.)

Sliders: (Really makes you think. Parallel words hold so many possibilities)

Cleopatra 2525: (Campy shows are so fun.)

Journeyman: (Why was this canceled? It had so much promise.)

The Dresden Files: (It was a solid show. Nothing amazing, but enjoyable none the less.)

Highlander: (THEIR CAN BE ONLY ONE!!!!!!!)

Supernatural: (So it's more of a horror show, whatever, I still love it.)

Pushing Daisies: (WHY!!!!! WHY MUST ALL GREAT SHOWS BE CANCELED!!!!)

Primeval: (British sci fi deliveres another hit.)

Dead Like Me: (Really makes you think about life.)

Their are other sci fi/fantasy shows I enjoy, but these are the ones I love.:castlerock:

Pretty much all of my favorites are on your list, Rider Jetfire... Though I would substitute TNG for DS9... I agree about Jake 2.0, Firefly, Journeyman and Pushing Daisies, though. You could add The Pretender, The Visitor, New
Amsterdam and Wonderfalls to my "gripe list," too. Sometimes I want to kill stupid networks... :redface2:

The only things I'd add would be

The 4400 (The first season was amazing, after that was kinda "eh")

John Doe (Only sort of SF/F, but the same general ish. And also sadly canceled too early.)

The Visitor (Kinda like the 4400, WWII guy disappears, comes back 40 years later looking exactly the same)

Dark Angel

Moonlight

Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (I'm a Superman freak, what can I say?)

Batman Beyond (One of the best adaptations I've seen)

Eureka

Kyle XY

Quantum Leap (How has nobody put this yet??)

Yeah, I watch a lot of SF/F tv... Most of which gets canceled just when it's getting really good. >:(

Fantasy:
Xena: Warrior Princess: some weak writing/ acting/ directing, but a few really spectacular episodes and arcs (such as The Debt, One Against An Army, Callisto, the Hope saga, the Norse arc). very strong music and fantastic characters.
Buffy/ Angel: again, some poor writing, but some great stories here and there, particularly in Angel.
Dead Like Me: fantastic wit and interesting characters.
Garo: ...

Sci Fi:
Doctor Who: Just love to watch it.
Farscape: in the middle of rewatching this at the moment. Surprisingly great characterisation and interesting drama.
Sh15uya: ...

Wow, I can't believe I forgot to add Quantum Leap and Wonderfalls to my list. Those two were amazing as well. Gotta love Scott Bakula and Bryan Fuller... Can he do no wrong?

Babylon 5: I'm up to season five and it's the best TV show I've ever seen (that's coming from someone who sleeps eight hours a day and spend the rest of his time watching TV). It takes a while (read: the whole first season) for things to unravel and really get going, but from then on it's a roller coaster ride.

Star Trek Deep Space Nine: Awesome space combat, awesome characters and the entire Dominion War arc is masterfully executed. Of course, DS9 is only awesome because B5 was so awesome :)

Stargate: Besides Jack O'Neill being the best character in everything ever, I love that the show takes place in our own time, and at the beginning humanity is starting from nothing as far as all this space stuff goes. I love that I can watch the latest episode of Atlantis where we've got huge ships with advanced shields, FTL travel and incredibly powerful beam weapons and look back on all the things over the past 12 years leading up to that, starting from when we didn't even know how to turn the friggin' gate on.

Doctor Who: It's just pure fun.

Terminator: It's a cleverly written show with pretty cool action that expands on the movie universe in some really awesome ways.

BSG (old and new)
Star Trek (all incarnations except Deep Space 9)
Firefly
X-files
Buck Rogers (c'mon who doesn't love 80's cheese?)
Dr Who
Eureka
