Favorite J-Drama?

If the show were on TV, I'd be one of the people who stopped watching after one episode.

I'm still struggling through the show right now. :O

You should definitely try watching the anime then. It's a lot livelier than the drama was and the characters act pretty different, especially Hagu in the first few episodes. I know you dislike anime, but it's kinda like watching a drama in animation form, just a little longer, all together it's about 38 episodes and it really doesn't have any of the staples that people associate with anime.
