Bet they are English since they always complain about everything... Kidding

Also the upgrade to the new look is an option so it's their own fault for bítchíng about it without check out what it's look like.

It's an option right now...but it will become a mandatory upgrade around the beginning of the year sometime.
 
Yep, it's like try black for first time after spent few years on white, yes it'll be so painful and uncomfortable to accompany the new changes at begin but you'll get use to it after spend some time with it. Eventually in the end, you don't want to go back to white again...

Anyway the new facebook profile layout look good to me but I'll stick with the old one for the time now.

Some people don't like change because they're so used to the old version. However change is important, especially when you need to update something, like a program on a computer.
