dumb question regarding lets go kamen riders

Eiji Hino

Someday...once more
with OOO/Den-O: Lets Go Kamen Riders being released fairly soon, i am a bit confused continuity wise.
1. OOO crosses paths with Den-O. I thought Decade established Heisei riders exist in their own worlds/universes? or is worlds just a way of saying point in time?
2. OOO and Den-O travel through time to the 1970s and Shocker comes about and what not, but i thought Showa Riders existed in the A.R. Worlds. again do the riders exist in points in time(like throughout showa era) or in seperate universes, like DC comics.

I know these must be dumb questions, but i couldn't keep enough interest in Decade to keep watching and maybe it was explained there and i just don't know it. then again, i really don't count the events of Decade anyway.

Help would be much abliged.

Because it's most likely non-canon.... and they just want to put up a show with everybody in there???

Decade never provided any information on how the original shows existed in relation to each other. We were only ever shown the alternate worlds, so it's not like the originals can't be set in the same world if toei felt like it. Of course that would bring up a bunch of inconsistencies between those series but continuity doesn't really seem like something they are interested in explaining or preserving. We don't really even know how this movie will treat the old riders appearing (they could show up through dimensional walls), so it's best not to worry too much about it.

We don't even know if this movie will be in continuity with OOO. I wouldn't worry about how it'd affect the continuity of other series just yet.

Ultraman and Ultraseven had that problem, didn't they? They work together now.

The problem with these Kamen Riders is that many of them are thrown together so late and without explanation. It's got most people doing this: :eyebrow:

You could say that the worlds always were together and you can disregard the premise of Decade and keep the guy and his powers, or you can say that Den-O's time-travel or Decade's dimension travel somehow altered everything to make them one.

It doesn't matter. They messed up the movie more than this.

I am imagining that before the Den Liner tried to cross time, the dimension wall that appeared in Decade shows in front of it and thus making it go to OOO's world and the same happened when it crossed to Kamen Rider 1's world.:P
