Dragon Age: Origins

Return To Ostagar is out for the 360. I got it 'cause I needed my fix, having literally done every single sidequest and seen pretty much every possibility in the main game (I'm going through one more time to try to get Alistair to marry my Human Noble Rogue, and maybe another to do a different Mage build, and okay, I want to see my male Human Rogue dual-wielder kick some serious ass)... The quest itself is nothing special-- on Normal, I got through it in about an hour and a half, scouring every corner for loot-- but the swag you get is pretty damn sweet. [hide]The armor is great for a DPS; not very strong, but if you equip the entire set, you end up with really low fatigue. The really nice swag is the swords; you get the King's sword and shield early on, and the sword is a Darkspawn-killing machine. The end boss encounter gives you Duncan's sword and dagger, which are even better. Great stuff for early-level characters; if you get the DLC, I highly recommend doing this soon after Lothering, maybe after grabbing some levels from Denerim sidequesting.[/hide]

Dragon Age: Origins - Controls?

I'm playnig the 360 version and doing a whole lotta relying on my teammates not to **** up.

I haven't played it in quite a while. How do I direct the heroes to attack a certain someone instead of just letting them run free and get killed?

I don't mean this to sound dickish, but isn't it in the manual.

It's part of the AI setup. In addition to prioritizing skills in battle, you can also direct characters to, say, always attack the same enemy as the character you're controlling. You can also have them just use one or two particular skills/spells on whomever you're attacking and others on enemies who attack them.

A good AI setup can make fights a hell of a lot easier. A bad one can make them stupidly difficult.

Ah... yeah, I need to set it so it attack who I'm attacking.

I figured out finally how to set Tactics and in about one battle went through all 30 heal potions that I'd built up.

Is there a place to go to buy heal stuff?

I think it would help if we knew where you are. Because even places like a pub would have some things for you to buy. Not to mention killing certain dark enemies will have potions and such. If you kill a dude and they twinkle, walk over and hit the action button. You should pic something up.
