I like reading, but I wouldn't consider a manual "reading."

I think it would help if we knew where you are. Because even places like a pub would have some things for you to buy. Not to mention killing certain dark enemies will have potions and such. If you kill a dude and they twinkle, walk over and hit the action button. You should pic something up.

Right now I'm traversing the Deep Roads of Orzamaar. But I'd be willing to travel anywhere to get me some workable herbs.

You can buy unlimited Elfroot at the Elvish camp in the forest. Recipes for various healing potions are scattered at shops around the kingdom.

You may also want to set things up so your allies only heal when they're down to 25 or 50%...

Oh ****! I have it set to <90%!

No wonder! For some reason my mind was reading that as once they have 90% of their health gone. Frack!

Why would they even have that as an option?? :shakefist

I see tons of elfroot and stuff, but never do any potion making. This something I should really pick up?

If you're constantly running out of potions. Also, having a few Potent health and Lyrium potions for the really rough boss battles (the High Dragon and the Archdemon in particular) can be very helpful.

This game has beaten me into depression over this room I can't beat:

Alright.. I'm in the Deep Roads and there's some Super Forger Demon Spawn baddy in this room.

I've learned passive fighting and drawing the bad guys out has been winning the day, but..... my dudes keep rushing off into the thick of battle and getting slaughtered.

What tactics am I suppose to set to make sure they stick to me and fight who I fight?

When I select "Controlled Character gets hit" all they do is just stand around.

What am I doing wrong???
