Actually, it turns out the Dragonscale armor is amazing... IF you plunk down for at least one of the drake scale armor upgrades.

Juggernaut Armor:

Armor 24.16 (effectively 25.16, see below)
Fatigue 33.75%

+20% fire resistance
+20% cold resistance
+20% electricity resistance
+20% nature resistance
+20% spirit resistance
+1 armor
+10 mental resistance
set: +3 strength
set: +3 constitution

Wade's Superior Dragonscale Armor

Armor 21.26
Fatigue 23.37% (essentially 3.37%, see below)

+70% fire resistance
+2 stamina regeneration in combat
+25 stamina
set: -20% fatigue
set: +5 defense

To me, the super-low fatigue, the stamina boost & regeneration make up for the lack of diversity in its resistances. Either one does really well for tanking.

I also found out second-hand that you can upgrade the Warden Commander Armor by leaving it in the party storage box at Soldier's Peak, leaving (camp works fine), and coming back for it. When you do, it'll be roughly appropriate to whatever level you're at; I think it maxes out at Silverite around 17th level.

Also, I'm doing a run through with my Dwarf Noble warrior, and I found out you can work with *both* Bhelen and Harrowmont. I'm currently openly assisting Bhelen and secretly assisting Harrowmont, but if they give me an option to take the crown for myself, I am so totally doing that. XD

I ended up using Juggernaut on my tank, and dragon scale on Sten. the stamina buff goes nice with 2 handed weapons

The Awakening announced

DAO's first full on expansion has been hinted at with an expected release of march. Not too many specific details are known yet but they'll increase the level cap (it was hard enough to hit level 20 as it was) and add in a new somewhat shorter campaign. No official word yet from EA of BioWare , but I've head some unofficial talk from friends on the dev team confirming the expansion, but not an actual date for release. It'll be nice to get a new story as I've played through the main campaign to death.

Does the new story come after the one you complete or is it one contained within the game I'm currently playing?

And where can I find a good sword? I unfortunately found a REALLY awesome one handed axe, but I want a kickass sword. They seem pretty hard to come by.

Right now I'm hitting up Orzamar. :)

Provided you did warden's keep, you can get a good sword after you see a specific cut scene (takes place at random while traveling the map) a star metal sword. Other that that there's a pretty decent Sten specific sword you can get from his quest line. I'm not 100% on the specifics because they're pretty tight lipped (and they know that I'd rather find out myself when i play it, but there should be an official announcement from EA and BioWare this month) but it sounds like it might take place after. They're saying it's a completely new campaign, but not saying it's with new characters, so taking place before the game is out of the question, and it's hard to imagine the same cast having a separate adventure at the same time as their time consuming main quest, so that's just leaving an after quest.

I got the PS3 version a while back. Haven't played it yet.

But I ended up getting the code off of my friend for the Dragon Armour so I'm set for that

What'll be the best class to start off with? I was tempted to go with Mage myself.

I'd say the easiest to play is a human warrior if you just want to get the story out of the way, since tanking is the easiest roll for a PC. If you want the most fun, yeah, mages are great. Once you learn the effects of spell combination they're a breeze, but they can get troublesome if you're playing on a mode that allows friendly fire because your team WILL get caught up in most of your spells unless you set them all to hang back.
