The fact that "Doctor X" is hitting its highest ratings for a Friday is quite impressive, especially for a medical noir drama that can sometimes feel niche. However, while I appreciate the intense performances, especially from Kim Ji Won, I feel like the show leans a bit too heavily on familiar tropes at times. There are moments when the plot feels predictable, and I wish they'd take more risks with character development. Still, the way they intertwine medical ethics with personal stories is compelling, and that aspect keeps me coming back. It's nice to see that a show like this can draw in viewers and generate buzz!
