Do you ever get scared when playing FF games?

No, why should I be scared. It is a fantasy, none of that is real.
For the same reason I watch horrors and science fiction movies, but never the thrillers or drama.
Real horror is in the news, look it up.
That's scary.

Well when I was younger I use to get scared at horror scenes when watching horror scenes in movies. Many times fictions would look as though they were real. As adult I am just calm seeing movies with horrors

Yeah, I think there are a lot of creepy moments in these Final Fantasy games and some of the ghouls and ghosts- saying there is nowhere to run and hide could be quite scary to some people? Also getting stuck in a dungeon is no holiday as well(haha)-so check out the highlights of some of the horror that does go on in these Final Fantasy games.

It's an RPG with a fantasy theme. Perhaps it's because your sister was very young or not used to artworks like that in the game?

If you want to get scared while playing games try Resident Evil or Five Nights At Freddy's.

Yeah, there is absolutely nothing scary in FF. I don't remember any of the games in the series even trying to scare the player.
You think Resident Evil is scary ? Try playing Amnesia The Dark Descent, or even better, watch a playthrough of P.T. demo if you're a fan of supernatural horror.

I am a fan of the supernatural but my absolute favourite genres are Real-Time Strategy(RTS) and Turn-Based Strategy(TBS). The Final Fantasy games loosely fall under TBS but utilise the battle style very well. It's what got me into TBS games even if it wasn't strictly TBS.

You can't try the P.T demo yourself sadly, I believe it's been deleted from PSN a long time ago. I can tell you though, that it is easily the scariest game I've ever played.

As for genres, I like almost all of them honestly. That is, if the game looks good to me, I won't much care which genre it belongs to. I have to say that the sports genre is my least favorite though.

Yeah, I experience that but not often. Sometimes those terrible monster face looks very horrible. Imagine those such things like that appeared abruptly on your screen, that's so disgusting. But still I love playing because despite of that things it have very awesome graphic quality.

Sometimes I do get scared. The developers of this game do made a great job making this. The sounds do creep me up and the sudden pop of enemies do make the game more terrifying.

Some kids may get scared if they are sensitive. And that happens with most of the survival games. I am not sure if that is possible with the FF. I think that would not be too much serious in the game.
