Do candy toys need to be painted?

I was thinking of picking up the candy toy Shinken-Oh set from CS-Toys, but I've seen some pictures of it where each origami is one solid color. Do they need to be painted like a model kit out of the box?

You can paint them for the best details.They do come with stickers that can allow it to look nice

The latter's mostly the model kit for one of the Origami, which in turn you must collect all 5 parts to make the ShinkenOh.

Does HLJ stock these at all? I try searching for them, but nothing turns up.

HLJ has'nt carried candy toys since ABA. Your best bet would probley be to get them from CS toys.

This is the shinken oh when you finished building it and with no stickers appiled. When stickers are appiled,they look like the ones at the toy fair picture above
