In one of the smarter cross-business decisions we’ve seen, the virtual tabletop company Roll20 has announced a partnership with Discord to get Roll20’s software working directly within Discord servers. It’s much easier to get people to join a game if it’s on a platform they’re already familiar with. This is perfect! I love hanging out with my friends on Discord, so being able to play games together without leaving the app is amazing. I can see us spending hours on this. Plus, it’s a great way to meet new people.

This could be a game-changer for family game nights. I've been trying to get my kids into role-playing games, but it's been tough to coordinate everyone's schedules. If we can do it on Discord, it'll be much easier to get everyone together. I’m interested to see how it works for a family setting.
