Digimon: Future Ideas

I so wanna see the full Olympus Twelve as well. Apollomon and Dianamon should have partners in my series or something.

Or maybe a new series which involves the Olympus Twelve and the Royal Knights.

I would love a season that revisits the original two seasons: an "after the end" type season. Yes, everyone has a Digimon and the worlds are now united...sort of, but that's not a "happily ever after" type ending. The government would have to make entirely new laws. The gates would be guarded well with security. Plus, they never rounded out the Dark Area arc they were toying with in season 2. That could be a significant plot, since the Dark Area is yet another parallel world to the Digital, Dream, and Real worlds.

There's gotta be something for my digimon to be like OOO and Double. Ya know, instead of being dragged around once his/her mind is transferred into his human spirit, his/her should be safely into his/her digivice.

As for the heroes, its gotta be like OOO's combos.
(Human/Beast/Complete Union)

Heroes:
Each of them possesses an animal type.
Fire - Birds
Water/Ice - Fish/Arctic Animals
Wind - Equids
Earth - Felines
Thunder - Insects
Light - Canines
Metal - Primates/Heavy Animals
Darkness - Nocturnal Beasts

Allies:
- Rebellion
Brother (leader) Dorumon - Dorugamon - Dorugreymon - Dorugoramon/Alphamon
Fanbeemon - Waspmon - Cannonbeemon - TigerVespamon
Dracmon - Sangloupmon - Matadormon - GranDracmon

Hey Analyzer, what would you suggest about my series?

I think it's more the problem of execs, market people, and other people in the industry who are all "female leads in a shonen series don't sell" than the writers. I've heard of various writers in Hollywood trying to break various barriers, but the powers that be make it extremely difficult.

Though other countries being allowed to do their own versions of series franchises like Digimon would be pretty awesome.

And since all the stories ideas had would show up as fanfic, one can screw with the dynamics. I have as seven-part OC series where the lead partner is a cougar, a triceratops, a Wild Turkey, an extinct squid, a hadrosaurus, two mineral Digimon, and a frog. That's the good thing with fanfic. You don't have to obey to the prejudiced notions of a few overly paid execs. ;)

Don't know how making everything in the same continuity would work. The multiverse concept makes crossovers easier. Though I have an AU series in mind where all the anime series would be in the same universe and have different plots (Adventure will initially take place in the Real World, the Tamers are sucked into the Digital World like in the first season, etc). Plus I could have my crossover pairings that aren't generally possible. *stares at Miyako/Ruki and Savers Agumon/Shoutmon* I have an notion for an manga AU series with the X-Evolution movie thrown in that might crossover with the anime one.

LOL would there be an Ultraman-like narrator to tell the audience every episode s/he should finish the enemy quickly, or they will remain like Digimon forever? And if/when they run over the time limit, would they remain as Digimon or would a loophole be exploited?

I remember that Katara and Suki and her Kyoshi Warriors were great opportunities for merchandise ,especially Suki. Yet they never released any figures except the whitey Katara and you know the rest.

If these characters could make it here and be well liked, why can't there be more? Especially since women make the MAJORITY of the movie ticket sales, daytime show viewings ,and possibly invest a sizable chunk in anime too and probably the majority in its native land. I could see that it has had a mnimal effect in Japan where the guys are all superhot possibly metrosexual man-idols ,but from my limited viewing of Japanese media, we both have a LONG way to go .

Having a non-stereotypical lead role for a WOMAN is needed because since I'm white and a guy , I've had INFINITE role models though I admired POCs like Bruce Lee, Ali , Tsuburaya and others more . I cannot imagine how horrible it is being a woman ,aside being any other minority not seeing equal ,balanced representation in the mainstream media ;its one of the reasons I've stopped paying attention to it . It's all a joke and very narrow-minded, regardless of viewpoints.

I would only like an American version of Digimon if I did it . Not to sound arrogant , but I have out all mapped out in my head how it would be done and executed. If need be , i9t could be a co-production between Toei and Saban assuming they get the rights back, but Nick COULD be a possibility now since they have Avatar.

Why wouldn't they import an already existing franchise that has some niche roots for a new audience? This concept would only work if the crew of Avatar got onto the show because anything else would be lesser. And I know what I mean since their attempts at Voltron and Speed Racer failed/might fail.
And if not them it would have to be talents that are up to the task of making a second Americanime franchise.

I thinking sticking to the basics like the original would be a start like Digidestined children/teens taken into an unknown world that is based within the computer mainframe of the world /alternate universe(dimension?).

Continuing any other storyline, while good for us fans , would be a major mindfuck for the children who're being just introduced, so making it standalone series (at first ) is essential for an American revival. Then gradually, you seep in aspects of continuity like familial connections, guest appearances of the first four seasons ,and most important of all, connecting the stories.

Essentially , if done correctly , it would serve the function that Turn A Gundam was supposed to do and failed, combining the seemingly alternate worlds. It would not be hard to connect the Adventure saga to Tamers since Takato's teacher and the blond secret agent dude are basically Kari and TK. The only thing that would have to be done is to make the connections. Maybe Frontier could be too, but maybe that is before Adventure? Savers could be in the near future and Xros Wars in the here and now.

P.S. Analyzer, I recall there being a loophole in the Animorphs books that gave leeway if the morphed beings were still morphed, so maybe that could be woven in?

I'm not familiar with Animorphs or Gundam in general, so I can't comment on that.

I definitely don't support the sexist and racist people who make these decisions. I read a very good article arguing that stories with POC can and have been popular, but the prejudiced executives cancel the show with the BS excuse that POC don't sell. It's an attitude that damn well needs to be changed.

International version of Digimon would be pretty interesting. There are apparently a few Muslim countries that redubbed Digimon because evolution is evil or something. The people who believe this are probably the equivalent of Christian fundamentalists and thus shouldn't be held as examples for the entirety of Islam. They replaced it with something like Agumon saying "I summon cousin Greymon/MetalGreymon/WarGreymon!" An interesting concept in and of itself. Pity it had to screw with an already existing show.

I have ideas for Digimon taking place in America. One fanmade season has them devastate my hometown, lulz. I read the one who wrote the Malaysian fanseason Wira Digital enjoyed destroying places he probably went to.

I prefer everything take place in the multiverse, and that Asanuma-sensei and Yamaki are their own individuals. The technology in Frontier looks definitely 2002. Canon supports the multiverse theory, so maybe the characters inexplicably dropping into another dimension from a universe where all the Digimon media is fictional and being all:

Main Character: *rubs back after being dropped on a road* Woah, that was freaky. WTF just happened. *turns around and sees Kouji and Kouichi gaping at him* Hey, do you know where I am? BTW, you look familiar...

At least that gives one less headaches when dealing with crossovers. I'm enjoying a five show crossover, though some stuff makes me go "But Takuya and the others seem completely unfamiliar with Digimon" and "Wait, when is Kaiba going to shoot Juudai's fanmade cards into space if they are going to meet with the cast only a couple years later?"

And sorry for not getting back to you, Henshinslayer. I don't have any suggestions in mind, but I wonder where the children come from? Japan, America, etc?

The children, hm.... maybe the 6 are from Japan while the two evil warriors are from Europe. Like England.

What do you think though about my warriors?
Like OOO's combos...

Interesting. You should research what country the two evil warriors would be from if it's not yours, possibly getting a beta from that country to go through it.

Your warriors are fine. Would animal associations be the same for the Digimon partners. It'd be so lulzy and awesome if one of the partners was a mechagorilla.

For the Brother, is he partnered with all three Digimon?

I like to amuse myself by taking the plot or concept from another story and applying it to Digimon. Harry Potter is an example. A school to train people to be chosen would be pretty cool. This could be applied to anything, including Twilight (Though with hopefully better writing and minus the creepy stalkerish person. Though if the Digimon partner is sparkly, I would heart the person 4eva!).

The brother's rebellion, he has two allies/spies to keep an eye out for his brother and friends. The two allies would be partnered with Fanbeemon and Dracmon.

I'd say for the dark warrior and metal warrior, they are both from the United Kingdom. They both learned fencing. They could possibly move to Japan with the others after they turned from evil to good.

Ya think DexDorugoramon would be a new BlackWarGreymon when he's first DexDorugamon then digivolves in each battle?
