Now whether specifically this was for Decade is up for debate but when you hear this line, there's no way they didn't have Decade in mind. (Plus it's more fun)

While the Yorozuya is having their end-of-the-year discussion and start talking about how the show is most likely ending right when Gintama's movie is coming out....

"...But I really don't like having a movie right after the TV show ends. Like how those recent kiddie TV dramas do it? After a wishy-washy final episode and go, "To be continued in the movie." The TV show just feels like a promotion for the movie. That's insulting the viewers who've been watching every week! I would never go see one of those movies."

Gintama's movie is just a recap with new animation, there's no way the series will end with it. They've been speaking about the series ending since the first season...

I don't think it's JUST Decade; Seitokai No Ichizon had a sort-of reference to Sentai TV series ending half-heartedly in episode 6:

Sounds like someone on the staff is/was a Decade fan that got burned.

Can't blame them though, Decade TOTALLY deserved that, since technically they did it twice if you count the Den-O arc leading directly into the Cho Den-O movie. Although, I kind of wish they had bothered to do the same for the All Riders vs Dai Shocker movie.
