Descriptions for for Hawkman, Firestorm and Captain Atom sound like a reboot to me. Green Arrow sounds like a restart, back to the way he started kind a thing.

I've read european comic books most of my childhood! I'm French for pity's sake, I read all the Asterix and Tintin and Gaston Lagaffe my father had before I turned 10. I'm a fan of Yoko Tsuno, Spirou, Marsupilami, Lucky Luke, Les Tuniques Bleues, I was a fan of Scrameustache before all the space fairy crap and Valerian and Laureline before they went beyond the universe! Now I'm interested in Hana Hattori, Maliki, Dômes and Psycho Paris. Too much stuff from Europe feel overly pretentious nowaday or just doesn't... I dunno click with me.

Mangas have a begining, middle and end, they are self contained universes that don't spill all over each other. France has a huge manga industry with all sorts of titles for all sort of tastes. Me? I like hot blooded stuff and comedies. The first serie I finished was Saint Seiya, now I'm reading the prequels Episode G and Lost Canvas. I'm still waiting for Togashi to finish HunterXHunter.

I don't have anything against DC and Marvel in general, I don't mind a little Deadpool one shot, I followed the recent Sorcerer Kings storyline in Batman/Superman while at work (we're the only convinient store chain in the country to get Marvel/DC stuff so I take adventage of it). I've read some issues of Invicible, The Goon, the Walking Dead, I got some Transformers Spotlight in trade paper back, I got Gargoyles tpb 1 and would still follow it if I could find it SOMEWHERE in this darn town. I'd have gotten Last Stand of the Wreckers but its nowhere to be found around here. I just bought Megaman #1 from Archie Comics and I think I'll keep buying the issues or even subscribe.

So I'm open, I read plenty of things... I just won't sink money into that whole mess of reboot and complicated continuity that is Marvel and DC.

I don't know about the reboots, but I hope that they add more ethnicity in it.
