Dark Kabuto's first custom paint job!

So, over the weekend I began custom painting my lancelot kit, into a red and yellow color scheme. Now keep in mind I am NOT finished with this painting yet. I just decided to put it together, and take pics to get a good idea of how the finished product would look. I still need to go back and do some touch up work on it to cover any mistakes. I'll post updated pics when I'm done. Any criticism is appreciated, as this is my first time painting anything

I have to say though, for my first time I don't think I did too badly.

Looks good...

Though you may want to focus the camera before taking a photo next time, or perhaps take the pic a bit further away and then crop it on the computer. The last pic was the only one I was able to see. :sweat:

I wasn't even thinking of Iron Man when I came up with the paint scheme. I based it on the color scheme from this Lancelot:

Why did you ruin your lancelot toy WAHAHAHAA.

I colored my Vincent purple like in the show, but then I saw it came out and I was like Jeez.

I then bought another Vincent and colored it black and silver XD.

And then I bought a gurren mk 2 and painted it pink and purple.

^It's my first time custom paiting something. Cut me a little slack:redface2: but it does look better in person, trust me.

I was sorta thinking on buying the Air Caviler, I already have plans on buying the Robot Soul Albion so rather then having two of the same model, why not give one a differnt coat of paint?
