I think Static should just stay on TV. I really couldnt see him in a Comic as I could with Batman Beyone.

The Static comic predates the TV series.

Compared to the "shock value" shitheads at Marvel (they DEFINE character derailment), they don't screw up that badly...even if there just about the only comics company who put men through ringers that usually befall women (Nightwing rape):sweat:

Yeah, I'd like to see if this whole GL/Hawkgirl/Warhawk situation is still in place.

Timm claimed in an interview the audience could work that out in their sleep and left it at that (I.E, Hawkgirl just keeps hounding John, Vixen finds out and dumps him, he inevitably caves in to his own feelings and the future isnt invalidated). I liked the way they dealt with it without closing it up...ambigious, but it trusted the audience.
