Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin dead

Irwin further evolved the concept of Wildlife Documentaries and shaped it into what it is today...he fully acknowledged the risk in the field and did his best to teach people that animals are not trying to get people but at the same time make them aware that they are dangerous. He will be missed.

I don't know if any of you have been reading the thread about Mr Irwin on Rangerboard but I can't believe a lot of the people there haven't been taking this seriously... I mean, for ****'s sake, a man's dead and his family have lost a loved one and yet some of these Fucktards have actually said that they're glad he's dead!

I don't know if they were joking or not, but if they weren't then they definitely need a life because it's not funny!

No they arent joking. The idiots are posting pictures, making a mockery of the death, and then hiding like cowards behind the defense of "oh its my opinion". You know, my opinion of some people on that board just shot way down. RB is usually a kewl place but when some members act like that, act disrespectful like that, when the moderators dont feel to do anything... you just realize how low the place has gotten.

I dont want to start a "bash RB" discussion though. But yeah, that thread is pretty pathetic, even for Rangerboard.

Anyway, yeah the news has shocked me. I mean, I'm not going to pretend that I'm crying over it IRL. But I enjoyed his shows and he was still energetic and young. I just didn't he would pass so soon. My sympathies go out to his family which must be devastated by this

Seriously, Ytmnd, somethingawful, Newgrounds, and plenty of other sites BESIDES Rangerboard have been mocking Irwin's death, does that make them "cowards" for stating an opinion or making a comedy out of it? 9/11 is mocked, Bush is mocked

It's becoming more obvious this forum's bias against RB is blinding their view of the thread and making it more than what it actually is, nothing in there is that offensive, and as much as I regret Steve's death and appreciate his conservationalist goals, I laughed at a few of them

RB was ALWAYS this low-brow, I'm suprised nooone has failed to realise that, mocked racism, slander, bashing the mentally impared, was all RB could do besides talk about PR and other shows, even when the NS and DT teams were posting, the forum is presently slipping back into that pattern with no guarantee of ever having contact with MF cast and crew, without their charade of maturity reeling in anymore people, there just taking it off and going back to their old ways, old ways most people here should be accustomed to right now.

personally i feel it's not because they poke fun at certain stuff, it's the timing, a man just died, his children became orphans, his wife a widow, pulling something like that so damn early is just disrespectful

I've seen and posted in that thread and it's really only two people starting it, TommyisCancer who likes to think he's a badass on the internet and some 15 year old who thinks he's witty. I don't care if they don't like him or not, but the fact that they're HAPPY that he died just doesn't sit well with me. The man did a lot for endangered animals and devoted his life to them and then to have people say they're glad he died when they have no idea what he's done with his life just doesn't seem right.

Everyone understands that. But that doesnt mean we have to like it. Im not going to try to change everyone's way of thinking but I'm on the side of Blue, in that it's low even for certain members to be "happy" about that death just because they werent a fan of the show.

If they didnt care he had passed they should have stayed out of the thread. It's their opinion but sometimes, it's best to keep your opinion to yourself when it's not appropriate. How would you like it if your grandfather died and some guy comes to the funeral saying "good riddance, that dude was a retard". No one there would appreciate it.
