Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin dead

As I saw the news tonight, they showed some clips of the Australia Zoo and the flowers that people have left there. Reminds me of when I was at Buckingham (sp?) Palace right after Princess Diana died.

He will be missed and my heart goes out to his family.

It's not that people are acting like the know the guy. It's that they know of him and respect him.

And that's not even the half of it. I mean you dont have to respect someone to understand that it's down right monstrous to act like that about someone's passing. you dont have to like Steve, but just because you dont, it doesnt mean you have to piss on his grave and all the people who mourn him. You know?

It's just courtesy, common decency.

You guys haven't seen the half of it concerning the RB situation and the Steve Irwin thread...

Supposedly TommyIsCancer is immune from being banned because he met Ray-Z while Impy isn't...

It just goes to show that RB has really gone downhill and the mods only care about the forum looking good whenever anyone from the show makes an appearance and once they've gone, the forum degenerates into something resembling a message board version of Hades...

I still post there only if there's anything of interest which is rare these days but to be honest, this place is 10X better as there's good people here that you can have a laugh with, good topics and the most important thing of all is that the mods aren't power crazed unlike those on RB...:anime:

Wow, I didn't know this thread would go so long!! Normally when people make threads about celebrities dieing, people would post in response something as simple as "R.I.P", and then it would drift off.

But this thread.. all because of some weird goings on over at RangerBoard, and some other idiots on the internet blubbering about how pleased they are about Steve's death even though they never met him?

All I can say is these people have lower lives than Michael Braunstein and a Telesalesman. Best way we can deal with these people, wether we are fans of Steve Irwin or not, is turn our backs on these people.

I'm not Steves biggest fan, but I'll just say I remember watching one of his shows and enjoyed it.

... and a Telesalesman.
Do you mean telemarketer?

At any rate, Steve's manager said that he saw the video and it shows Steve swimming next to a stingray. The stingray lifts it's tail and shoots the razor-sharp barb into Steve's chest. He pulls out the barb and dies a few moments later. It was not instant death.

Video may not be released to the public, but Paul Levinson, chairman of Fordam University's Department of Communication and Media Studies said that, "The key point is once there's something on film, it's impossible to keep it contained." (It should be since there was only ONE video and only a sicko would copy it to give to other people.

I know I took a big risk with this but MegaRed at RB threatened to ban me for calling Impy and TommyIsCancer there "pitiful losers" because of their actions on the infamous thread and also because I didn't like the fact that the mods weren't willing to do anything about it and so I decided to call his bluff...

I'm sorry if I'm a bit pissed off right now and I couldn't give a Drokk [and before anyone asks, Drokk isn't a deity but an exclamation from Judge Dredd!]if I get banned for a couple of days from RB but I feel like I'm burning with a sense of raging justice inside me at the thought that certain people at that board can get away with blue murder there just because of who they know amongst other things whereas here it's a different matter...
