Zebraman is a fucking awesome movie.

I saw it several years ago at my local comic shop.

Be prepared for a comedy though guys. This movie does not take itself seriously... at all.... Like ever.

Stopped by DVD Planet to pick up the movie but they didn't have it. The guy there said the release might have been pushed back. Amazon is listing this as not even shipping for several weeks also. Anyone able to get it or are we out of luck at the moment?

That's strange... It WAS supposed to be released today. Amazon (for me, at least) says it ships in 4-7 weeks. I see nothing on there about it not being available. Deep Discount DVD has the release date set to 02/26/08, though, so I'm not quite sure what's up.

I enjoyed the movie, but it falls apart by the end. It's not something I've been interested in rewatching, either, so I don't plan on buying the Media Blasters release. It's bad enough the original I bought in '04 is good for nothing but gathering dust.
