Could Brenda Song be strapping on a morpher next time?

This is just trivia fodder I know, but I had to ask anyway.
We have a great actress in Anna Hutchison and her role as Lily this year. I hear that there was some kind of connection between Wendy Wu, Koichi, Sally Martin and PR that led to her joining the cast.
I was hoping to see her on the team and we did.

Now, ever since You Wish with Emma Lahana I always speculate if a Disney DCOM star will end up strapping on a morpher and it has been fun to guess despite not always being right.
But I with Wendy Wu there was a great cast. Benda Song was great and so was Shin Koyamoda.

Funny thing about Shin, I was expecting to see him in the role of Dai Shi or Red


Currently we have three DCOM girls who've all handled being the sole women in helmets in their respective years

Unless she's a major guest star aka the Pengiun Ranger, I can't see it. She's already got a fairly established Disney career already.

I expect to see Tyzonne's fiancee as the yellow ranger next year though. Either that or as a major supporting character.

Why not? she finally did "College Road Trip" a sequel to The Pacifier and The Game Plan, so she can be part of it now. as Elephant ranger. (It's female.)

I doubt she'd do something like that.
She's a supporting character in a popular sitcom, and the lead in a popular TV movie with a planned sequel. She's no Hilary Duff, but she's more in the That's So Raven/ Zack & Cody/ Hannah Montana crowd. Sally Martin and Anna Hutchinson both only had minor roles in Wendy Wu, with Martin's having a small homage to her ranger role. Song probably would think/ know that going into a ranger series wouldn't be such a good idea, at least no more than a cameo; and she appears to be trying to make it into hollywood instead.

That does make sense...though I hate to admit it. Song does have a martial arts background, she's a blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do.
