[Cosplay Help]Shinkenger-Looking for Red vest

Hey everybody! Can anyone help me find a vest similar to Takeru's from Shinkenger?

Well...depends what do you want to pay. Because in one of the Shinkenger threads on the site they had a link to the official Shinkenger jackets. I agree that Takeru's jacket is hot. But not sure if you wanna pay about $300+ for it... The other question...how good's your understanding of Japanese writing to read this site!

Well I know the actual vest is going to be freaking expensive. But all I'm looking for is something close to that. Like just a plain red vest without all the fancy patches.

Hmm...yeah true, true you're right. I would want something that looked similar to it so I wouldn't be paying out the nose for it.

I just now tried typing "red puffer vest" into a google image search and here are a couple of promising links I found...or so best I could find...

Red Vest 1 (this one looks the closest to it IMO but then even though its 50% off its about $1 cheaper then the official Shinkenger jacket. Humph!)

Red Vest 2 (Just your typical red vest... *shrugs* )

Red Vest 3 (This one might work...but two things...one its random that this is some college vest but I guess that's why you have patches to cover that stuff! XD And then #2 I hope you don't mind that its for women! rofl! )

I don't know if that helps any...but that's where I'd look... *shrugs*

It looks soooo much like the original! Damn! That's freaking sweet! When I looked earlier (a day or two before) I could only find the Go-On jackets and I thought they still were kinda pricey and didn't look as good or as close as the Shinkenger ones do. (Plus I didn't want to walk around my college with "Doki-Doki Delight" blaring in HUGE lettering on the front! :sly: lol!)

Now I want one!!! Well..more like I want Chiaki's! heh!

Hmm...as reliability (which I don't blame you for being cautious) I'm not sure...

Plus they have an eBay store as well...so I would try checking out their user status there see what grades they recieved from costumers.

Damn! I just wish they sold the Sentai suits as well... I'm looking for a decent priced one. I figure I'll just make it myself except for the helmet or I put my the knowledge from art school to the test! :laugh: (though I'm not a sculpture! Or a seamstress! I'm an animator/ graphic designer... )
