I think the bigger question might be why do people need Deker to be Cole.

Just gives people an excuse to want to like Power Rangers Samurai, despite the fact that it sucks so bad with all of its flaws.

But in reality, it'll just make them hate PR Samurai even more if they did do such a thing by making Deker as Red Wild Force Ranger Cole.
